What better way to celebrate your new city mayor position than by going out to the bars? Shortly after realizing his win Tuesday night, winner John Dennis-R hit up campus bar Harry's Chocolate Shop for congratulatory toasts.

Dennis managed to beat out one-term incumbent Jan Mills-D.

Frolicking amidst drunken college crazies on a Tuesday night as his celebratory appearance may appeal to his younger audience, but it might signify something else for the more respectable voting elders in the community. He takes office Jan. 1, at which point we’ll see whether the new mayor is a responsible adult or an expired frat boy.
