Get In My Box - Flatbreads Review

Get In My Box - Flatbreads Review
The now "unionized" Purdue Union makes students' dining decisions even harder. Should it be the cereal bar today? Or maybe a power caffieneed veggie shake?

But who can resist the cute environmental friendly boxes that Flatbreads pack their sandwiches made with "gourmet hot artisan breads baked in a gas-fired, open-hearth oven" in?

But what's actually in the box?

For today's review, a " Bries n' Apple Hot Sandwich" was ordered:

Price: $4.85
What they say it is: "Apple with caramelized onion with rasberry mayo on melted bries"
What they mean to say: "4 apple slices with caramelized onion, cheese, pink mayo"

Did someone eat the other half of the sandwich? Oh wait, that's  just the portion they serve.

Looks can be deceiving. Instead of a toasty sandwich stuffed with goodies and can barely be contained in the box, there's this,  a half of a sandwich the size of a tomato slice.

What a waste of space. Pretty box, you deserve better.

Granted, the taste is still fairly original and so much better compared to Lemongrass, but for a price tag as such, portion is just more important than looks or taste... at least for a college.
