Michigan Student Assembly Continues Thinking People Give a Shit
Alright, this is becoming a joke. Headline news in the past week for the Michigan Daily has been focusing on MSA President Zach Yost. He has been asked to resign after he created a facebook group making fun of the proposals constantly made by another representative, Tim Hull. He managed to slip a “disability” comment in the group description; Hull suffers from Asperger’s. The group was discovered when the only other member of the facebook group, Kenneth Baker, brought it to the assembly’s attention. He later resigned.

Now the MSA is attempting to pressure Yost into resigning as well. They will be passing out flyers asking students to attend an MSA meeting to discuss the issue.

Today’s daily also reported that in the election for new MSA representatives, a whopping 2,100 people voted out of 39,447 potential voters. Wow, 5% of students care. Actually, you’d have to deduct all of the voters who only voted because their friend in the running shoved a computer in their face and forced them to. So about a baker’s dozen of voting students actually give a shit about the MSA.

Do the math Michigan Daily. Stop writing constant articles regarding MSA elections and resignations, no one cares. The only reason I’m writing this is because I’d rather wait a few days before making another bad prediction about the Michigan football team.
