Having spent more than one week (168 hours!) away from the GW Hospital, Vice President Richard Cheney and his wife made a triumphant return for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Richard B. and Lynne V. Cheney Cardiovascular Institute at The George Washington University.  

Vice President Cheney has been in and out of the institute for varied cardiovascular-related health issues, including a trip to recharge his pacemaker just one week prior to the ribbon cutting.

This inauguration may prove to be slightly less embarassing than the ones he has previously attended.
