Just a short drive north of Medford is the quaint little town of Peabody. There isn't much of interest there, except for a gigantic pink fiberglass elephant.

Affectionately called Pinky, the large statue has served as the roadside advertisement for a local car dealership, which was recently gobbled up by a mega-monster dealership chain. Now Pinky is looking for a new home (although the news coverage fails to say exactly how much the Rt. 114 dealership wants for the 30+ year old pachyderm statue).

The article does mention that Pinky was "kidnapped" by Tufts students at one point. Maybe the university should just buy Pinky, then we wouldn't have to steal him.

Not to mention that this campus could use a splash of pink fabulousness, and what could do the job better than Pinky, Jumbo's gay cousin?
