Purdue Goes Green

Purdue Goes Green
frontback
In celebration of finals week and in an effort to keep its hardworking students from crashing at 4 a.m. while still studying for that macroeconomics exam, select campus libraries open 24/7 this week are offering free coffee and granola bars. Going one step further, the coffee is being served in cups that say,
"It Makes A World Of A Difference: In one year Eco-Products customers make a difference by saving: 150,000 gallons of gas, enough to drive around the earth 181 times; 7,380 pounds of greenhouse gases; 504,326 kW hours of energy, enough to power the average american household for 10 years. Thank you."
Well done, Purdue. Saving the Earth and grades everywhere.

Too bad any coffee sold on campus proper tastes like unadulterated shit. I find it funny they use "eco-cups" or whatever but deign to recycle the cups or even half of the printer's cover sheet pages.

At least Purdue has a good marketing department..
