They refused to give me the name of their organization when I asked, but I wasn't too surprised. I can't think of any other group on campus besides a fraternity that could convince a bunch of college boys to get all dragged out in all this shiny polyester glory. The boys in skirts told me they were on a scavenger hunt, but not for items around the Grease Trucks where they were situated, but for guys who would take pictures with them.

"I'm doing this for a laugh," said a guy standing by in his comfy sweats as he watched the "ladies" mob a group of guys just getting off of a bus.

What I couldn't decide was how much help they received from girls. Some of these outfits were definitely coordinated and put together beyond what your average male sensibility would be capable of. Some had too little body fat, and had to wear pants over their mini-skirts. But upon request, they were all very good sports about dropping trou and posing for my camera.
