Librarian Mary L. Stephens was honored last Tuesday by the Davis Branch Library for being Yolo County's number "top librarian." Apparently, she has been honored before, being named "Woman of the Year" back in 2004 by the state legislature.

It's unclear what exactly is takes to be a "top librarian." According to the article, she "has helped the library weather financial cuts, adjust to changes in technology and plan for population growth." The last movie I've seen, "Naughty Oversexed Librarians 3," named a girl top librarian because she gave good... well you know. If Stephens is anything like that girl in the video, I wouldn't mind at all if she would "plan for population growth" that's happening in my pants.
