We have all gone through different stages of our lives wishing we had known better. We can’t turn back time, but we can learn from our experiences. Kudos to the following celebrities as they dish on what they wish they had known sooner.
* Adam Sandler: “I would probably just tell myself to relax and not be so anxious.” He offers this piece of advice for fans: “Stop and enjoy your life — enjoy every moment.”
* Ben Stiller: “I'd say to chill out and relax.” I sense a pattern here.
* André Benjamin: “Try everything! When you become an adult, all those experiences come back in some kind of way. And they end up helping you be the person that you’re going to be.”
* Michael Caine: “I would say to myself, 'Don't change a bloody thing. Because you'll screw up if you do.’” It’s hard to say whether or not he has screwed up. He will reprise his role as the butler Alfred in the much-anticipated Dark Knight movie.
* Brooke Shields: “I would…say, ‘As hard as it might seem, try not to rely on other people’s advice and opinions so quickly and so whole-heartedly,’ because what I did was lived about the first 30 years of my life really putting a lot of stock into everybody’s advice.”
* Ludacris (Chris Bridges): “I wouldn’t tell him anything, because the young Chris was what made me the Chris that I am today, and I’m still the young Chris to a certain degree. I’m just getting older and I’m learning. You know what I’m saying? I have a daughter now, so everything that’s going on in my life happened for a reason, and I wouldn’t be the strong person I am if it weren’t for that Chris.”
