America's Most Wanted Joins Search For Hit-And-Run Driver Who Left Student To Die

On November 8th, Robert Aliano, a 21-year-old Quinnipiac student, was struck by a speeding vehicle while crossing the street near campus, leaving him bedridden in a coma at Kessler Hospital for the past month.

While the cowardly hit-and-run driver has not been apprehended yet, authorities believe he or she may have been driving a 1993-1995 gray or silver Nissan Quest or Mercury Voyager.

Armed with this information, America’s Most Wanted, John Walsh's legendary crime-stopper unit, issued a bulletin asking for America to join in the search for the motorist who nearly ended Aliano’s life.

The AMW bulletin reads:

Since the accident, police have scoured every junkyard in the area looking for a vehicle matching the description with damage to the front bumper. So far, they've come up empty.

Nick says that once Robert is well again, he will devote his time to finding the driver who hurt his son.

Until then, his family is hoping that America's Most Wanted can help. If you know anything about the accident, or the car that may have been involved, call our hotline at 1-800-CRIME-TV right now.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Aliano and his family. May he awaken from his coma soon.

Until then, if your or anyone you know has any information regarding this accident, please contact AMW.
