That Ivy League in New Haven, Conn. must be seething with jealousy as US News and World Reports has just released their list of the Best Colleges: Up-and-coming Masters Universities and their wonderfully wastey-faced neighbors at Quinnipiac are number one!

The list covers the Northeastern region universities with the best thriving masters programs on the rise. Below is the entire list:

1. Quinnipiac University – Sure the Quinnipiac students party hard but this list just proved they know how to study hard too. 

2. Wagner College – The Staten Island-based college was once part of the great Vanderbilt estate and now it is part of this great list.

3. The College of New Jersey – Sitting in the armpit of America is TCNJ holding it down and representing Dirty Jersey with one of the best masters programs.

4. Marist College – Other than the Poughkeepsie Tapes, there isn’t much else in the small upstate New York town but now Marist’s masters’ program is on the list of good things coming out of Poughkeepsie.

5. University of Scranton – With so much recent focus on Scranton since The Office, it’s no wonder they upped the ante on their program.

6. Salve Regina University – Salve Regina’s masters’ program is salving the mystery of why people are going to Rhode Island. 

7. Loyola College in Maryland – Loyola Maryland is keeping its loyalty to great higher education.

8. Bethany College – Located in Waltham, Mass., Bethany is just another great victory for the Massh*les.

9. SUNY College of Arts and Sciences –Geneseo – With Geneseo, New York has definitely monopolized this list with a whopping three colleges on their list.
