If you guessed weed - then you guessed right! The liberal state of Massachusetts is at it again and while Mass. voters were voting in the most controversial election in history, they were also voting to decriminalize marijuana in the fine state. Set to come into effect in under 30 days, the new law will decriminalize possession of marijuana an ounce or under and the charges will come down from the lengthy and exaggerated six months in prison to a tidy little $100 fine.

But Massachusetts isn't the only state to jump on the weed bandwagon, Michigan has become the thirteenth state to pass a law allowing the healing powers of good 'ole MJ to be used for medical treatment.

Sure some other states passed laws on doctor-assisted suicide and stem cell research but that is not nearly as big a deal to college students.
