• A 21-year-old man broke into a home he believed was used for drug dealing to steal money and drugs. It turned out to be the home of a terrified couple. He is now spending the next six years of his life in jail.

• While in police custody, a repeat drunken driver took a swig of correction fluid to try and conceal his alcohol breath. He was taken to a hospital to get checked out, where his blood-alcohol content was registered as being three and a half times the legal limit. I guess his trick didn't work...

• U.S. Marshals, the FBI and IRS can’t seem to find the “spam king.” He was sentenced in April to 21 months in prison for sending hundreds of unsolicited emails. Apparently, he just walked away from the federal prison camp and is now nowhere to be found.

• A Premier in South Wales is asking a fast-food chain to stop giving out Batman toys with children’s meals. Since they are not old enough to watch The Dark Knight, he thinks the toys are sending out the wrong message.

• Two men in Australia were out shooting vermin when one of them accidentally shot the other in the buttocks. The victim was taken to the hospital to have shrapnel removed from their point of entry.
