Quinnipiac Students Gear Up For Thanksgiving Break!

Quinnipiac Students Gear Up For Thanksgiving Break!

Quinnipiac students are gearing up to head back home (much earlier than most college students) for their week-long Thanksgiving break. As the students pack up and get ready for the food coma which awaits them miles away from colleg,  the rest of the  college world toils away at massive piles of homework for three days. Here's a list of what Quinnipiac students will be doing with their highly envied extra days off.

Shopping for Game Attire - Although I'm sure there are many Quinnipiac students that wear their favorite football jersey for the endless hours of football on Thanksgiving, I have never been much of a sports fan. All one needs for Thanksgiving is a sweet pair of spandex to pack in the extra truckloads of turkeylicious goodness without having to loosen the old belt buckle.

Inflation Nation - Rather than watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on television like the rest of the masses, the Quinnipiac students have the luxury of having the time to go into the city and watch the balloons being inflated the day before. Very VIP of Quinnipiac.

Coupon-Collecting - Most college students arrive just in time for Thanksgiving festivities ready to eat and pass out shortly after their meal but Quinnipiac students are different. Because we will be home for an entire week, we will have time to breeze through store catalogues and clip coupons for the scariest day of the year - Black Friday!

So to all those jealous college students, no worries we may have an entire week off for Thanksgiving but we don't have major national holidays off like Columbus Day. Possibly something to consider, Quinnipiac!
