1) The two of you spend every waking moment together. Nothing will cause the love to dull faster. Spending some time apart will not only help you maintain your sanity, but will also allow each of you to preserve your respective identities.

2) Even the smallest thing can cause the biggest argument. This is a red flag in any relationship. Also, if the one who started it does not apologize or take responsibility, resentment will start to build up.

3) Sex is a big part of the relationship. Although sex is important in any relationship, if it is the only important thing in your relationship, something is wrong. There should be an emotional connection as well as a physical one.

4) You feel pressure to have sex. If you are not in a sexually active relationship, that is perfectly fine. Being pressured to have sex when you don’t want to or are not ready is not.

5) The relationship takes up time that used to be spent on other valuable things like family and friends. A relationship should never cause you to lose your sense of self. Your boyfriend or girlfriend should understand and want you to spend more time with your loved ones.

6) Your friends don’t like your boyfriend or girlfriend. Friends give us advice because they love us. They also know us better than anyone else. If they don’t like your squeeze, it’s probably because they see something you don’t so listen up and don’t accuse them of being jealous.

Who wants your summer flingto last? I thought the whole point of th summer relationship was wham bam thank you mam thus the word fling. Summer flings are great training, like spring training or football two a days. You learn from them but don't want them to go on full time that would just suck. Posted 06/12/2008 08:54 AMReply
