To add a little sizzle to your summer, MSNBC is listing the World's Sexiest Beaches of 2008. Unfortunately, most college students won't have a chance to visit Greece, Australia or Mozambique this year. But that doesn't mean they can't take in the sun, sand and skimpy bikinis at more local hotspots.

With that in mind, I present the Top 10 Schools Near Beaches so that students everywhere can have a little sexy time.

1. University of Miami: Only steps from South Beach, students here can spot more than a few topless sunbathers by day, and party hard by night.
2. Pepperdine: With hard decisions like Laguna beach or Malibu beach, it's a wonder people make it to class at all.
3. University of Hawaii at Hilo: Surrounded by beautiful beaches and towering volcanoes, things get plenty hot at this educational getaway.
4. Flagler College: Students at this strict school can let loose at Florida's St. Augustine beaches, the same magnificent oceanfront sites that made Ponce de Leon stop in his tracks.
5. University of California, San Diego: Perfect weather and perfect beaches abound. Who could complain about that?
6. University of Texas at Brownsville: This semi-tropical paradise is only a five minute walk to Mexico and a thirty minute drive to South Padre Island.
7. University of North Carolina at Wilmington: Sun-seeking students here are close to Myrtle Beach, a popular beach destination for oceanfront fun.
8. SUNY Stony Brook: During the summers on Long Island, Main Beach, East Hampton is the place to be for hot coeds and a legendary party scene.
9. Monmouth University: In West Long Branch, NJ students are only steps from the Jersey shore which means endless action.
10. Northwestern University: During the summer, the beach at NU, which is technically on a lake, attracts sun-starved sorority girls ready to shed some layers.

While an entire list of schools could be made just from Florida and California, I went for geographic diversity. But what do you think? Where did I go wrong? What else should be on the list?
