As the semester comes to a close, students come rushing home in search of rest, relaxation and a seasonal job to make some cash for the next semester.

From the local brasserie to chain stores at the mall, places everywhere fill up with poor college students hoping to make enough money to support their drunken habits and their inexpensive, yet unrelenting taste. While the rest of the nation is enjoying eggnog and putting out the cookies for Santa, students will be slaving away in the world’s worst jobs. Here are just a few of some of the season’s most horrendous jobs.

The Retail Industry…In General – Working long hours in fancy clothes doting on angry, ruthless customers is not long rough on college students but definitely not worth the trouble.

Restaurants, Restaurants, Restaurants – Waiting on giant parties, being berated for not meeting the exact specifications of OCD-ridden customers and coming home smelling of fried calamari and cheap Chianti, betcha can’t wait for the spring semester to roll around.

Behind the Bar – The holiday season may be joyous for some but it’s typically a time where drunken good times become a long string of drunken hearts to hearts with the bartender. The view from bar behind the bar is definitely not better than in front of it.
