The night after Fourth of July, a Rutgers student went to an ATM outside of the Rutgers Student Center on College Avenue Campus. Shortly after he was approached by four males who were standing on the same block. Police say the males then demanded money from the student but when he refused, they started to beat him. This assault carried on for blocks as the victim tried to escape, eventually succeeding.

I would hope that everyone knows by now not to go to an ATM at night in New Brunswick. It’s really dangerous and this sort of thing happens too often.
