We're less than a month into the new school year, but it's already time to plan for the end. Nomination forms for honorary degrees, and (more interestingly) commencement speakers are up on the Rutgers website.

Harvard had J.K Rowling as their commencement speaker last year. We will not be able to afford her, but it would be great if someone smart and funny could come and say something charming yet insightful to ease the terribly long (and dull) ceremony. Perhaps someone who can offer some home grown, Jersey wisdom? I'm thinking, maybe I'll nominate Bruce Springsteen.
