Rutgers Crew, Now Re-crew-ting

The Rutgers crew team, which had alumni representation in the US Olympic team at Beijing this year,  is recruiting on the steps of Brower Commons on College Avenue.

From far away, it looks like people finally got tired of working out indoors to classic rock and blasting air conditioning, and brought their machines outdoors, but upon closer inspection, they are machines that work specifically on the motion of rowing. From the looks of it, it works out the entire body instead of just the arms. This would explain why all the team members on the team have great bodies, rather than ridiculously large arms alone.

Oh, and they're also cute, so even if you're not interested in joining the team, go check them out and show some support to this very old, very traditional inter-collegiate sport that never seems to receive as much love as football. It's worth mentioning that our rockstar English professor William Dowling is an avid crew fan, and once said that the football team should disposed of in the middle of the Raritan, where the crew team regularly practices.
