Rutgers Hall of Fame Player Passed Away

Darrin Winston, considered to be one of Rutgers' most celebrated athletes, passed away on Friday, of leukemia. He was diagnosed only on Wednesday before his sudden, tragic death.

 

His record of 26 victories, 278 innings pitched, and 23 complete games at Rutgers still holds, reminding us all of his glory. He went on to pitch for a number of teams, notably for the Philadelphia Phillies and Somerset Patriots. He was 42
