Holy God, you’re done with college (or know someone who is). What the hell do you do now?

The latest post-college manifesto, The Gradspot.com Guide to Life After College, is out this week, and we just got a sneak peak at the inside.

If you thought life after college was all about landing a cushy job, you're in for a wake up call. What about filing tax returns, handling an office romance and paying your bills ontime?

Now that you’re not spending your days recovering from beer bong hangovers, you’ll appreciate their advice on finding a new pad, navigating treacherous office politics and changing cell phone plans. It’s a quick read, easy to understand and fits snuggly in your back pocket.

Even better than the advice on life in the real world, the book offers fantastic anecdotes from grads who’ve gone before you (must read: Confessions of a Match.com User).

If you're cheap, download your copy for free here.  For those of you dragging your feet to another commencement ceremony this week, put in for a paperback copy over at Amazon. Splurge on Amazon’s gift wrapping and mail it to your delinquent post-student friend.

Done and done.

The book is a surprisingly helpful and insightful guide for the treacherous post-graduation years. Reading this a few years back would have helped propelled me into success much faster and more efficiently, instead of still continuing to pretend to be successful (my current state).
