Nobama Campaign Spreads to Rutgers

It's a widely accepted fact that Rutgers is largely populated by liberals, and that there's a lot of Obama love on campus. Sure, we have the small and much-mocked campus Republican club, and the conservative publication Centurion (which seems more self-loathing and tongue-in-cheek everyday), but Republican students are few and far between.

It would have made more sense for the t-shirt vendor on College Ave today to sell pro-Obama garments rather than those neatly folded, pristinely white "NOBAMA '08" shirts. The shirts went for $15.00, with $2.50 going toward Senator McCain's campaign and $2.50 for profit. Some students passing by were heard to discuss whether or not they should purchase a shirt for public burning purposes. Let's hope the vendor won't take it too personally.
