As college students, we spend most of our time trying to scheme the latest and greatest way to black out on the weekends with little regard for the world around us. Girls and guy alike spend hours in front of the mirror primping for the upcoming Saturday night at Toad’s Place. The good people of SIFE have finally found a way to aid in the primping process and give back to those in need.

The Quad News reports:

"On Monday, Nov. 17, the Quinnipiac chapter of Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) collaborated with businessman Michael Wright to put an exposition of makeup together in the student center. "I'm big about giving back with my business," said Wright, who donates a portion of the proceeds from his online business, Happy Thoughts, to charity.

According to sophomore Brittany Fouskas, customers can search Wright's website www.marketamerica.com/happythoughts to search for a desired product. They are then sent to the business that markets the product.

The goal of Monday's fundraiser was to support SIFE's Café Cameroon Project. The project involves importing coffee from the village of Bawa in Cameroon, Africa and selling it within the United States.

All the profits from that endeavor go to building a health center for villagers in Bawa. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Monday night's makeup display will go to Café Cameroon."

Helping the community and looking good for the weekend? Sounds like a plan to me!
