The Classic Chair Joust

Let’s face it: dorm room life is boring. There isn’t much to do outside of studying in your dorm or watching television in the common area.

However, if you stick enough bored individuals into one tiny space, they will eventually come up with their own fun.

And this, my friends, is how chair jousting was born.

The premise is simple: two students mount computer chairs at the opposite ends of a hallway, and then proceed to charge at one another—usually whilst yelling profanities—until they collide.

This semester, I encourage everyone to give it a try, and if you’re feeling especially adventurous, give one of the many variations below a go.
