I know this will spark a bunch of comments, from Maryland Soccer fans telling me how much my School sucks because we lost a Soccer game, but we have to find the silver lining in this whole situation.
Yesterday, St. John's Soccer lost their chance to get NCAA gold to Maryland in double OT. What won it was a golden goal made by Graham Zusi in the 104th minute. This especially hurt after St John's star goalie, Neal Kitson, made 9 saves during the game to keep the Redstorm alive. St. John's could only produce 3 shots, none of which were on goal.
So we have to move on and find the silver lining.
At least we made it on Sportcenter!
- We were number eight on the Sportscenter top ten moments for Friday December 12, 2008. Sure it was a picture of our Goalie holding his head and losing the game, but at least we were as cool as Lebron James.
St. John's Students Probably got Dissapointment sex
- There were a lot of parties around campus for the game, after the loss there was really one thing that could turn the morale of the devoted fans.
So that is all I have for now. I hope you used protection students, and Let's go Johnnies!
