The Real Michael Clayton is a St. John's Alum From 1980

You learn something new every day at St John's. Today I learned that the real Michael Clayton (played by George Clooney in the film) graduated St John's in 1980 with an undergraduate degree before going to Fordham Law School. I know that this story would have been much more relevant when the film came to theaters or even when it came to DVD.

How do I know this?

Here is a direct quote from the movie:

"Michael Raymond Clayton. Born September 9, 1959 St. Joseph's Hospital, Bronx...Graduates Washingtonville Central High School, Orange County, New York in 1977. Graduates St. Johns University 1980. Fordham Law, '82."

What does this mean for current St. John's Students?

1. This means that we can forget that the most recent famous St. John's alum was Ron Artest

2. We can aspire to work for big business by cleaning up there sex scandals, insider trading, etc

3. We hardly ever look like we are negotiating!!!
