Helpful advice for all of you underclassmen moving into apartments for your first time next semester: DO NOT USE RCN.

I have been an RCN customer for a year now and have been getting inconsistent billing invoices  from the time I signed up. These people are the worst run cable company I can think of. Though they promise a great "Triple Package" deal for phone, internet, and cable, soon you will discover a bill one month for 200 dollars, then  at 300, then another at 150. Over the course of the year, I have called RCN to complain about everything from billing (my primary concern) to WHY THE HELL ISNT MY INTERNET WORKING about 15 times.

Four times this year my internet has suddenly stopped due to "technical problems in Maryland."

So word to the wise: Use anyone but RCN. Don't figure out the hard way like me. These people are the dumbest people in the industry.
