Juice Jam Highlight: Freezy Pops

Ok, ok, it was a tie between Third Eye Blind and the freezy pops.... or maybe it was Stephan Jenkins' (lead singer of 3eb) excessive talk of "group activities" (read: orgy).

Either way, Third Eye Blind killed. From "Graduate," to "Jumper," to "Semi-Charmed Life," to their rendition of Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven," the band took Juice Jam to a whole new level. Hence record setting attendence despite scorching temperatures.

On the other hand, Max Bemis of Say Anything did not live up to the band's name. So why did he show up alone? Apparently the band hasn't practiced in "like, four months," and would have sucked ass. It still would have been better than Bemis' boring acoustic set.

As for White Rabbits, most people were much more concerned with getting an airbrushed trucker hat with their frat's name on it than watching the band's set. Indie kids in tight pants would say Syracuse just doesn't understand the White Rabbits essence.
