Study Shows Kids Are Susceptible To Advertising, Clowns
You're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but Stanford researchers just concluded that preschoolers judge a burger by its wrapper.

In a recent study, preschoolers were given tastes of identical food products (both junk food and also healthier fare like milk and carrots) -- one set in plain wrappers, and the other plastered with the McDonald's logo. The kids overwhelmingly preferred the good ol' Mickey D's, in spite of Ronald McDonald's creepy pedophile grin.

I hope Stanford puts this valuable knowledge to use. Maybe if Lakeside served its week-old beef stroganoff in Spago take-out containers it wouldn't be completely inedible.
