Shame on New York sophomore Robert Gutierrez. He was charged this week with attacking a gay couple who, after suffering verbal attacks while holding hands at Quiznos, were beaten by Gutierrez and a friend upon leaving. Says homophobic ****, "It was just a fight. Poeple that know me know that describing me as a gay basher does not hold at all." 

The Office of Student Conduct and Integrity has voted to indefinately suspend Gutierrez. Homophobe calls this action "harsher than it needs to be."

One would think a minority student from liberal New York City would have more tact--not to mention remorse (and grammar skills?).
