It's freakin' muggy as hell out here... so beat the heat by getting a sweet, cold drink. Here's the top five in downtown Columbia:

1. Trops
Duh! More than 20 frozen flavors, specials everyday, outdoor seating... and no one gives a sh*t if you take it to go.

2. Shakespeare's
Known for the best pizza in town... but have you tried their Bloody Marys? Holy hell! They're spicy and delicious. And Long Islands are the best bargain (i.e. the strongest ever). Outdoor seating here, too!

3. Boone Tavern
Beer, beer, beer... their food isn't anything to brag about, but there's plenty of room to sit outside here, too, and pitchers to cool you down. Plus, it's almost never crowded so you can fit the whole gang in here.

4. Booche's
Not a lot of selection, but it's just got the perfect summertime feel to the place. Get a Stag and a burger and you're in heaven. Their margaritas aren't bad, either.

5. Addison's
Happy hour, of course! A big selection, lots of AC. It's a great place to chill out with a drink.
