Uncle Tony's

Uncle Tony's

Uncle Tony’s is the perfect transition for upperclassman who are so over the Rat scene, and not quite ready for the Belmar. If you’re a freshman, out on the prowl, looking to get crazy, meet new people, or maybe just one to suck face with in a dark corner, this is not your place. Uncle Tony’s, what at first glance, looks live a dive, is one of the more respectable bars on State Street. The scene is simply chill. The DJ generally strays away from Hip Hop and strives more for the alternative, rock vibe, which is a pleasant change from the tunes of Chingy and Lil Wayne, so be rest assured, there will be no grinding.

The most appealing part of Uncle Tony’s is, without question, the back deck. Though it only gets use the first and last few weeks of the school year, it’s truly a lovely set up. There are enough tables and chairs to accommodate those who are looking to catch up with old friends. And, let us not forget, there’s no cover!
