According to a recent report, Maryland charges high schools as much as $13,000 to use the Comcast Center for graduation. In fact, it used to be as much as $55,000. For our wealthy readers, that's a lot of money. Way too much money.

I'm a huge fan of Maryland sports and have spent a lot of time in Comcast. It's nice, don't get me wrong. But $13,000? To hold a graduation? Wow.

And I've seen how many graduations go on at Comcast. Maryland is raking it in. So why, again, am I paying so much to go to school?
