Breaking News: He Came, He Conquered, He Destroyed Greek Life...Dean Roy Baker Exits SU and Heads for Penn State

Dr. Roy Baker, Director of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs (and most hated individual by Greeks on campus), has officially decided to leave Syracuse and head for a bigger Greek system to ruin...at Penn State University.

In an e-mail sent to certain sorority and fraternity board officers, Dean Baker said:

"I have accepted the position of Director of Greek Life and Advancement at The    Pennsylvania State University effective August 27, 2007. My final day here at Syracuse will be Friday, August 17, 2007. The University will be working hard to fill the position as soon as possible.

I have enjoyed working with all of you during the past three years to improve the Syracuse University fraternity and sorority community. The Syracuse University fraternity and sorority program will only be as strong as you make it. This is an outstanding opportunity for you to work together to show the University what you are all about. You all have come a long way during the past three years. I hope you will continue to move forward."

Thanks Dean Baker, for sucking the fun out of every fraternity and sorority activity, for taking away: couches on lawns, red cups and 40s on porches, open parties, loud music, pledging events, and the few decent fraternities SU had left. Good luck to you, but perhaps more importantly, GOOD LUCK PENN STATE.
