This Friday, the gentlemen of DU are hosting "Sprung!", a spring philanthropy concert benefiting Relay for Life.
The concert features performances by The Hustle Group, Fresh Music's 3D, and The Classics, all of which have been dubbed "Northwestern's hottest groups." Personally, the only group I've heard of before is The Hustle Group, which sounds more like a disco-inspired-investment-bank than a band, but I've been reassured that all groups are at the very least decent, so to each his own.
Tickets are $5 in advance from any DU brother (good luck finding the few left that haven't been alumni-statused) or member of the above bands, or $7 at the door.
More information is available at the facebook event page, including the dates that these bands' CDs dropped. Is that term still culturally relevant? I guess so.
