New Program Created, Makes SU Look Terrorist-like
Syracuse is always making new programs, fixing buildings, creating bus lines, raising tuition, etc., and filing it under Nancy Cantor's beloved "Scholarship In Action." But the university really should have thought about this one a little bit.

A new program that aims to give business advice to veterans was launched as “Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities.”

Bootcamp? It might be entrepreneurial but, I don't know, that still seems cruel. If you just came back from the hottest damn sauna you have ever experienced without your arm and possibly your nose, would you feel tempted to join?

Gold star, SU.

Something about sending Veterans through a "bootcamp" AFTER WAR in which they, clearly, got their asses handed to them seems vaguely cruel to me . . .

couldn't they have chosen a more sensitive name?
