I'm going to be honest, this post has nothing to do with Maryland. I tried to come up with a way it fit in and couldn't. The story is just too funny though.

According to a UMD OTR tipster, Greg Oden was recently spotted tearing it up on the dance floor at a Columbus nightclub, home of his alma mater, Ohio State. Now, aside from the hilarity of seeing a 7 foot, 50 year-old-looking basketball player dancing at a nightclub, this story begs two questions.

1. Didn't he just have pretty serious surgery? You know, the kind of surgery where he couldn't play even light pickup basketball games? Now I know dancing isn't SO much of a workout, but according to the tipster, Oden was really going at it. That can't be good for the knees, right?

2. Greg Oden is an NBA millionaire. He can party anywhere. L.A., Miami, New York, anywhere. And he decides to party it up in Columbus? He hits up a nightclub in Ohio? Really? I know he went to school there and all but that's no excuse. How can anyone respect him anymore? You think Jordan would ever gamble, uh I mean party, in Columbus? I don't think so.
