Finance Professor Dr. Boyce Watkins has been getting some national attention these days. Watkins, who has voiced his opinions on CNN, Fox News, Time, Hot97 radio station (to name a few), did not take Bill O'Reilly's latest idiodic comments lightly. 

For those living under a rock, O'Reilly stated he was shocked there was "no difference" between Harlem hot spot Sylvia's and any restaurant in other New York neighborhoods, even though Sylvia's is "run by blacks." 

Watkins responded publicly  when he was featured as a guest on CNN's Newsroom last Wednesday.

Cheers to Watkins for sticking up to an idiot who shouldn't even be on television. However, word is the university isn't too fond of professors getting involved in media controversy. Why, you ask? Angry alumni = no donations = less money for Chancellor Nancy Cantor to play with, plain and simple.
