Apartment property in Berkeley is pretty notorious. It's not just because of the super high prices, break-ins, and drugs that may have been left by the previous resident, but also that Everest Properties has a practical monopoly over buildings close to campus. Oh and they were trafficking underage sex workers. What? Yeah, a good majority of people living in Berkeley pay rent to sexual offenders. Oops?

But enough about my employers (just kidding). ASUC was nice enough to schedule a week of events to educate those taking the step in Berkeley home renting.
