The Campus felt pretty lonely today. As people head home for Thanksgiving break I can’t help but feel saddened by the fact that when we return there will only be a week left before fall semester is officially over. These past few months have flown by and I don’t think I only feel that way because I am a senior. I have consistently felt that fall semester goes by a lot faster than in the spring; there’s something to look forward to almost every other week. With holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving and the anticipation of winter festivities, the days blend into weeks, then months, and in a blink you’re packing up for another trip home. I almost wish that there were nothing to look forward to because then people might appreciate each day a little bit more instead of wishing for the next big event. In any case, happy Thanksgiving!
