SU alum John Jeffrey Martin may not be airbrushed cutie Zac Efron, but he's the next best tween-dream girls can cream their pants over.

After graduating from SU with a degree in musical theater, Martin leaped from the non-existent Syracuse theatrical scene to Broadway. Thanks to his talent and passable good looks (by Syracuse standards), he's garnered some of the most coveted roles on Broadway in "Rocky Horror Show," "Hairspray" and "Good Vibrations." Now he plays basketball team caption Troy Bolton in the Broadway rendition of High School Musical.
