As a monster Ugly Betty fan, this kind of news makes my day!

The AP is reporting Vanessa Williams is finally getting her SU bachelor of fine arts degree this weekend.

Not only that, but the former drama student is delivering the convocation address to the Visual and Performing Arts students!

Williams left CUSE in 1983 when she became the first black Miss America.  She was forced to surrender the title in July of 84 after Penthouse published nude photogs her taken several years earlier.

Graduation usually blows, but I'd pay money to be at VPA's ceremony on Saturday.  Too cool!
