Fox 11 News and KTLA are reporting that a 22-year-old male student was fatally wounded during an altercation on Orchard St. and 28th or 29th last night, a few blocks north of campus.

Turns out the Mission Hill resident that was found shot dead yesterday was indeed a Northeastern Student: Rebecca Payne. This was heavily rumored yesterday when police found her blue Mini Cooper outside the apartment with an NU decal on the back, but alas, confirmed today.
