OTR recently reported that Maryland, Indiana, and Michigan would all be attempting to break the record for most dreidels spun at one time.

Indiana failed in its bid two days ago, and last night Maryland reclaimed the record, with 602 people spinning at one time. Even President Mote was on hand... MORE »

With the football and men's basketball teams struggling, Maryland has turned its competitive edge toward the Jewish world.

On December 5th, the college will try and set the record for most dreidels spun at one time. With 6,000 Jews you'd think we'd have no problem, but Michigan and Indiana are also attempting to set the record this year.
