Livonia, Mi native Mitera named new Captain
Mitera posted a total of 18 pts last year for an NCAA career total of 28 in two seasons.

According to the Michigan Daily, UM head coach Red Berenson announced Friday that senior defenseman Mark Mitera will be taking over graduated captain Kevin Porter's role this season. Alternates will be announced later.
