David Garland, Baylor's interim President sent an e-mail today to the entire student body explaining the misunderstanding that revolved around the "noose" as students confessed. His e-mail had greater authority than I can write with, here are a few of his words:

I'm a little bit torn about this costume and it's counterpart. On one hand, I think it's hilarious and awesomely ballsy.
