Penn State Player Is Actually Bigfoot

Penn State Player Is Actually Bigfoot

 I'm baaaaaack. Maybe.

Did you know the Penn State football team actually has a giant on their squad? I'm not talking about someone who's a little taller than normal. I'm talking gargantuan. I'm talking Goliath-like. I'm talking about a guy who is three times as tall as some other players. At least that's what The Collegian believes. No wonder...

On Second Thought, Maybe ESPN Was Right

On Second Thought, Maybe ESPN Was Right

At this point, I'm kind of like Centre County DA Mike Madeira -- when I hear about anyone in State College getting arrested or charged with something my first reaction is: "Please don't let football players be involved." But all too often over the last few years, football players have been involved. And while I still think the ESPN Outside the L...

ESPN's Witch-Hunt Into Penn State Football

ESPN's Witch-Hunt Into Penn State Football

I don't know about you, but I dragged myself out of bed at 9:30 yesterday morning to watch ESPN's Outside the Lines piece on Penn State Football's off-the-field problems and I have to agree with JoePa on this one, it kinda comes off as a "witch hunt." But, that seemed obvious months ago when they contacted me for the piece.

I told you before t...

Deal Finalized, Big Ten Network 2 Months Away

Deal Finalized, Big Ten Network 2 Months Away

So the rumored deal between Comcast and the Big Ten Network was finalized Thursday and I'll be honest, I really couldn't care less. Don't get me wrong, I love Penn State, but aside from the one or two games against crappy teams, I will never watch the channel. Really, look at Thursday night's schedule, you watching any of this? Oh well, at least...

JayPa Hearts Barack Obama, Blogs About It

JayPa Hearts Barack Obama, Blogs About It

So it turns out the few of us who write for the Penn State portion of CollegeOTR aren't the only bloggers associated with PSU. Nope, there's another more famous person (or at least son of a famous person) blogging in Happy Valley. Yup Jay Paterno, son of JoePa (oh, and the football team's quarterback coach) has his own blog on Barack Obama's web...

ESPN to Spotlight Troubled Penn State Football

ESPN to Spotlight Troubled Penn State Football

There has been a rumor floating around that ESPN was working on an episode of Outside the Lines which would focus on the off-field problems the football has had over the past few seasons. Last week the rumor was confirmed by Allentown Morning Call reporter Bill Kline on his blog. Well, all you had to do was ask me and I could have told you it wa...

Official? Daryll Clark, Penn State Starting QB

Official? Daryll Clark, Penn State Starting QB
... in NCAA Football 09 from EA Sports at least.

Sure it's just a video game (and an awesome looking one at that) but I think this is a clear sign of who will be the starting QB when next season starts this August. And if you're going to follow that logic, then we'll be beating West Virginia in overtime next season. You can see the video here.
