Last month, Professor Plous along with two of his Wesleyan colleagues launched www.IraqTheVote.org, a site where visitors can sign a petition in support of Iraqi sovereignty. He was recently interviewed by two students from Wesleyan's Hermes Magazine.

State legislators can't agree on a budget, but they can agree on the Packers.

Fourteen legislators signed a letter to the main cable companies in the state urging them to broadcast a Nov. 29 face-off between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys.  Currently the game would be unavailable to large sections of the state.

Nice to see they have their priorities straight.
