Columbia Professor Fired For Plagiarism

A Columbia University professor was fired yesterday for violating academic integrity policies. Madonna G. Constantine, a professor of psychology and education at Columbia’s Teachers College, was relieved from her tenured position after plagiarizing the work of two former students and a former colleague.

From Gawker.com, this is a map of plagiarism incidents at US colleges. Gawker's conclusion? "The Eastern half of the American student population [is] ethically bankrupt and growing shadier each year."

Well, at least UNC is clean!

And yeah, I totally stole this from DJ PM at Northwestern OTR. But I'm crediting him, so it's not theft, it's research. See what I did there?
